Life Sciences Video Channel Recognized at MarComm and Viddy Awards

The Prince William County Department of Economic Development (PWCDED) life sciences video channel, Scaling Curiosity, won a platinum MarCom award and a gold Viddy award from the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP) earlier this month.

AMCP administers and judges several international competitions for marketing and communication professionals involved in the concept, writing and design of marketing and communication programs as well as as print, visual and audio materials.

Scaling Curiosity is a video essay explores the life cycle of life science companies, featuring real Prince William County businesses owners at all stages of growth, including:

• Bacchus Therapeutics
• Capra Biosciences
• iQ Genetix

In addition to the awards for Scaling Curiosity, PWCDED also won gold MarCom awards in the government category for the 2021 Annual Report for print media publications and PWCDED News Blog for digital media web writing.

AMCP also recognized the 2021 PWCDED Holiday Video with an honorable mention Viddy award.
