This summer the Prince William County Department of Economic Development (PWCDED) won four dotComm Awards for excellence in web creativity and digital communication from the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP).
The dotCOMM Awards is an international competition honoring excellence in web creativity and digital communication. The competition spotlights the role of creatives in the dynamic, constantly evolving web.
"Most economic development offices rely on outside marketing resources, so it is an understatement to share how proud I am of our award-winning in-house marketing team,” said Christina Winn, executive director, PWCDED. "Besides crafting our stories and messaging, they have positioned Prince William County across the region as a great place to build and expand your business."
The department won four awards, two platinum, one gold, and one honorable mention:
"Being recognized from our international peers at AMCP is a huge honor,” said Trevor Johnson, marketing and communications director, PWCDED. "I am most proud of our team award, since it honors all our work over the previous year—and we have so much more we are planning to achieve."
