The Prince William County Department of Economic Development and Tourism will kick off the remodel of the Prince William County Science Accelerator’s communal conference rooms and break room later this month.
This remodel is a part of the county’s recent 10-year lease renewal of the lease on space at 11100 Endeavor Court in Innovation Park, Manassas. The first 10 years of the Science Accelerator demonstrated the facility’s critical role in growing and sustaining the county’s biotech community, where more than 20 companies have leased lab space to date—with more than six companies have graduated and grown into their own lab spaces.

To maintain the momentum that the Science Accelerator has generated in the life sciences and biotech business space, PWCDEDT worked with the Prince William Board of County Supervisors to approve upfits in December 2023.
"With improvements such as an open-concept kitchen and new meeting space opportunities, we want to encourage spontaneous collaborations and connections among resident companies," said Christina Winn, executive director, PWCDEDT. "This remodel is an opportunity to both update and better utilize the functionality of the communal space, which will also give our team needed space for future events, such as workshops, roundtables, and business education sessions."
Managed by RW Murray, the remodel will also add a private phone booth, providing entrepreneurs reservable and leaving larger conference rooms open larger group meetings. Construction will start in late March and should conclude in early June.
