Earlier this week, Granules Consumer Health hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony for pharmaceutical industry insiders as well as federal and local government officials at their new 79,000 square foot packaging and distribution facility located at 7413 Cushing Road in Manassas.
A division of Granules India Ltd, Granules Consumer Health invested $12.5 million to establish the facility. Virginia successfully competed with Maryland for the project, which will create more than 57 new jobs.
The Virginia Economic Development Partnership worked with Prince William County to secure the project for Virginia. Former Governor Northam approved a matching $200,000 grant from the Commonwealth’s Opportunity Fund to assist Prince William County.
