The fourth annual Make Your Mark Business Celebration and Awards Ceremony returns to the National Museum of the Marine Corps on Thursday, November 12 from 6:30-9:30 p.m.
Hosted by Prince William County Economic Development and Tourism (PWCDEDT), this evening brings Prince William County’s business community together to connect, celebrate, and recognize the people and businesses making their mark on our local economy.
Bringing Your Team? Make Sure They Have a Seat
Have a plus one you want to bring? Making it a team outing? We love to see it.
This is a seated event, and every guest needs to be registered. Registering yourself only saves your seat, not seats for your plus one(s). So, before you start planning who’s sitting where, please ensure everyone joining you has registered.
Our Event Agenda
6:30 – 7:30 p.m. | Networking & Calibrate Connect
Start the evening making new connections and catching up with familiar faces from across Prince William County’s business community. You’ll also have the chance to explore Calibrate Connect, featuring service providers, community partners, and county agencies with resources designed to help local businesses grow.

New This Year: Explore the Museum
Your Make Your Mark experience goes beyond the celebration. First-level galleries at the National Museum of the Marine Corps will be open exclusively for guests to explore. Walk through centuries of Marine Corps history, from the colonial era to present day, with immersive exhibits that bring Marine Corps experiences and stories to life.
And before the night is over, stop by the Make Your Mark photo booth to capture the occasion. Snap your photos and have them sent straight to your phone for a souvenir from the evening.
7:30 – 8:30 | Make Your Mark Awards Ceremony
It’s time to take your seat for the main event. We’ll be celebrating the businesses, organizations, and leaders making big things happen across Prince William County.
This year, we’re recognizing four ways to make a mark:
- Destination Experience Award – for creating experiences that give people a reason to visit, stay, and come back for more
- Fastest Growing Company Award – for businesses or individuals growing quickly and making moves in the county
- Economic Legacy Award – for businesses or individuals with deep roots and a lasting impact on our community
- Business Ambassador Award – for the people and organizations showing up for our business community and helping others succeed
There’s still time to nominate a business, organization, or leader for this year’s awards. Nominations close September 17. Need a little inspiration? Take a look at last year’s Make Your Mark Award winners.
8:30 – 9:30 p.m. | Community Toast & Celebration
We’ll keep the celebration going with a toast to our business community and more time to connect and celebrate. The museum’s first-level galleries will also remain open until 9 p.m., giving you another chance to explore.
Register today, rally the team, and get ready to make your mark. Consider this your official invitation to a night at the museum, Prince William County style. We’ll see you there!
